Report Illegal Dumping - South Valley Sewer District

Illegal/illicit dumping is a major cause of sewer backups, treatment interference and water pollution. Public witness complaints provide the most common source of information. To report illegal/illicit dumping, call the South Valley Sewer District office (801)571-1166. When a complaint is received, the South Valley Sewer District investigates and when possible assembles evidence for prosecution. The case is then released to the appropriate State and Federal authorities. A reward of up to $500 will be given to any witness(es) providing information leading to the conviction for violation of “unlawful disposal” into the sanitary sewer system.
